The AVO Expresivo is the first AVO made in Honduras and the first new core line from the brand since 2021. For a name built on Dominican tobacco, that’s a real break, and the start of what Davidoff is positioning as the next era of AVO. It launched in the U.S. on June 25, 2026.

The Expresivo is a multi-terroir blend. An Ecuadorian wrapper covers a Honduran binder, with long fillers from both Honduras and Nicaragua, each leaf fermented to its own spec before it goes into the blend. It’s rolled at Diadema Cigars de Honduras, the Camacho factory and the same Honduran house behind Zino Honduras. The result is fuller and richer than the AVO Classic or XO the brand is known for, without losing the balance that defines it.

Expect a medium-full profile with more push than a classic AVO: pepper and cedar up front, moving into cocoa, coffee, and leather. The fermentation work shows in the balance. It’s bolder, but it stays smooth.
